Anyone had this problem before. As above in the title. Seems if i press unlock twice it prevents it from happening.

The windows open when you hold the unlock button on the key and close again if you hold the lock button (mine was coded like this to default from factory).
Maybe your key has a stick unlock button? Have you tried with a second key?

Yeah tried the second key - does the same. Lock seems to work fine though. Have read that it can be sign of door lock/actuator going bad. Have also heard the GM5 module might cause weird electrical gremlins.

Is it worth disconnecting the battery briefly or pulling appropriate fuses perhaps, just to remind it what it should be doing, assuming you don't have a component failing?

Tried the battery for a couple of hours the other week - but not the fuses, I'll give that a go. Might it be worth having the door panel off and cleaning the door actuator/microswitch? Presumably there must be some sort of switch that activates the windows when the unlock button is held? Maybe that's stuck???
I'm not convinced its that though, it seems to lock and unlock perfect and the barrel works too.....

Good job I love the car....

Usually when enabled a double press of the unlock button drops the drivers window, strange that a double press on yours stops that from happening. May be worth going on NCS and enable and re enabling your choices if you have a laptop and lead to do so.

Thanks for your input everyone. Finally got around to going on NCS - the comfort opening was Nicht aktiv, turned it on and off again and all was well for a couple of lock and unlocks, then it started doing it again...…

Any suggestions? I'll see what it does in the morning.....

Unfortunately I think you may be right!

Is it possible to plug and play a used one to see if it is the module?
