See that some of the yanks are running 295/30/20 on the rear.

has anyone done this set up, is it better than 285?

Imo it won’t make much difference in reality..

Some might prefer the slight change in handling characteristics - it should mean the car will drive slightly more neutrally (I.e less oversteer)

    - Some might want more grip if running higher power
    - Some might like the way it looks

I just put MPS4S in 285 on the rear of mine, they where difficult to get hold of as think there is a supply shortage.

I like his videos but I he didn't cover the point as to why we might want to go wider. It's acceleration grip in the dry (well it would be for me). I had to go 295 on my 335i once I got it over 420bhp or the thing was useless.

My 437Ms have 275/295. 763Ms are the standard setup until I replace them, then may bump up a notch.
