I currently own an E60 M5 but I'm looking to move it on soon and get something else.

I seem to be stuck on the f10 M5 and e63 biturbo (circa £25k), but can't seem to think of anything else worth having that has better performance than the e60.

Anything I get won't have a warranty and will end up tuned as more power is king. I had considered supercharging the e60 but I don't think it is the right idea.

    Any thoughts?

F10 will beat the E60 all day long, BUT finding one unabused for that money will be hard, FSH a must, good luck with the search. Many have been re-mapped and down the line BIG problems for sum.

Thanks. That is my concern about an F10, I'd want to find one that hasn't been mapped.
I've had the engine fail on the E60 so I am well versed in M5 rebuilds LOL

    I would seriously consider a C63 or E63. I have a 2015 E63 and love it

We've spoken on PH as my brother had his engine swapped and bearings done by Mr Vanos - can't believe you considered the Supercharging route after the engine episode , crazy :D:beer:

E63. Much more robust and sounds better. Handling is negligible imo as they're both very large cars on our relatively small roads.

I have had an F10 M5 and no way would I buy a used one for £25K, dont think I would enjoy the ownership experience not having a warranty. Anything at that price with the two cars you are looking at would be worrying.

If I had to choose it would be the E63

If performance is your main concern, why not a GTR?

An E63 is on the list. The C63 is out of budget really.

I like to live dangerously. TBF the engine is sound and strong.

Handling isn't a huge concern for me. The roads I tend to drive etc don't lend themselves well to spirited driving in that sense.

Warranties are for the scared :muttley:

Out of budget, plus I don't like them. I know that will be an unpopular opinion though.

    Expensive lol.

Mine has had an engine rebuild under my ownership though.

It's had a lot of money spent on it in my ownership. When I sell it, whoever buys it is going to genuinely get a good, sorted car.

I'll send you a message with all of the info when I get home from holiday at the weekend. I'll be looking to sell at the end of the month.
