Just for the record my trip computer returned 19.8 mpg for the 4 hour trip
Don't think that was too bad either
I think I used about £25 - £30 of fuel lol
Arrived home with half a tank left! Very surprised at that!
Great day out boys and we must do it again! First time I've really found out how capable the car is and you boys don't funk about!
There great cars when pushed on just gotta keep momentum up haha. Yeah I agree we need to make it a regular thing and more members might join us. We can just drive to different locations to change it up a bit. We're not far from the lakes infact were surrounded by nice roads.
Did you not get any pics to post of the day ?
I've got a couple of pictures, what's the best way to upload them?
Agreed the a69 to carter bar is a good run or even the run to Hemsley/ Whitby is great if the camera vans aren't hiding in the bushes :O
Flickr is probably the best for uploading pictures
Gutted I missed this run out love a blast to hartside hope you lads done the bit after the cafe down to Melmerby!we do have some great roads I do Helmsley run out regular it's a bit different to hartside but just as good, over the many years ive done the run the cameras were out once. There's buttertubs which is good to that is not far.
It was a good run out, we looped round via high force and went over the back of hartside then come back up to the cafe
Yep class route
Postimage is good for posting the pics now photo bucket have ruined there site
Lads if you use google chrome web browser there's an extension you can add and it allows you to view the pictures again. It's in a link in the photo bucket thread in the general section.
Heres what I took chaps:
And here's the first one I took of the day. Just in case I was the only one to show.....or was in the wrong place!!
