Just trying to determine the popularity of meets within the Midlands. As per the title really chaps.....

    What do we want?
I personally only really see two options here for a meet. Either, we meet up for a coffee / beer; talk cars for a bit and then go our separate ways. Or, we meet for a coffee, go for a drive through the countryside and then finish off with a beer somewhere; typical drive is about 1.5 hours and covers around 50 miles (give or take).

    When do we want it?
Saturdays or Sunday’s? What suits people? I’m think of starting something come spring time, maybe late April / start of May.

I’ve put a poll up with the option to vote multiple times (hopefully), so what you want, what day and what time of the year.

Please bear in mind that if I’m organising, selfishly, the meeting points will be around Warwickshire, but I tend to make it convenient for people travelling down say the A46

Any other comments, opinions or anything is of course welcome. Happy voting :peace:

I'm just up the road from you in Rugby.
    Couple of suggestions spring to mind;
Meet up at the Long itch diner.
Avon Dasset country park, ideal for a photo shoot.
There's a cafe at Wellesbourne airfield worth a visit I'm told.
    Trip to Caffiene and Machine.
    Sunday am best for me.

Deffo meet and a drive, been on a couple of yours Tim and great

But you are 75 miles from me so driving down doing a run and coming back is a long way.

Could you arrange a drive that comes up north to wards Nottingham, then its equal distances. There's a few of us from up this way

All those in the Derby/Nottingham area are quite close to Donnington Park so maybe that could be somewhere to meet up, there is a newish restaurant there now.

Caffiene and Machine..great venue except its mega busy and parking is a lottery.
A pub with a decent car park is always a good choice

The Waterman near Warwick was quite a nice pub for meets with a decent car park.
Now renamed as The Hatton Arms apparently.

We can prebook tickets as a group meet with them. No problems getting in. I'm up for it.

Been looking at where is halfway between Nottingham and Leamington.
    How about Stoney cove?
    https://www.stoneycove.com/index.html
It has a large car park and a cafe, been there before on bike meets.
