I’m actually really bought in by it. Going to be a lot of fun to drive and looks the part too, minus the yobbish spoiler, although surprised it weighs 50kg more than the F80.

I could well be in for one of these when it comes to part with the M4. I love a fast small hatch, but I’m also swayed by the CLA 45s. What I’m struggling with is £50k+ for an A class. But you could argue I bought a £60k 4 series..

I think he likes his video editing too much BUT I think that the new AMG A class (A35/A45) is streets ahead of its Audi and BMW equivalents. The interior has gone from worst in class to best in class. Not sure about the external styling but that’s subjective.

It's excellent, and is leaps ahead of competition.
However, I'm 6'5" and its just not big enough inside, you can't even get a golf bag in the boot.

If you are short and don't play golf, then it's a great buy

    Yep like it.

On the short list for my next daily to replace the E63.

Will be just as quick in the real world and cheaper to buy and run.

Love it. Very capable and cool little car. Mercedes really on the top of their game these days, and arguably leaving Bmw far behind.

IF boot space was larger, I would be interested. Good every day performance/handling too.

Thing about Mercedes as well is, you know you won’t have the old model after a year.

No comp packs, no track focused specials, no endless special editions.

Just the regular, the S, and the ed1, from launch

I`ve got an A35 and it`s brilliant, add another 115 bhp into the mix and I can`t imagine how good it must be

I find myself using more than the F80 CP at the minute

Got a trackday on wednesday and taking my evo 5rs. Going to do a few laps in the A35 it`s that good

Coming 2021 will be keeping V8 and moving to AWD with RWD switch, just in time for my deal ending, but it may well be to expensive for what I would want, and may well get a new M4 for a bag oh crisps and a curly wurly by then :muttley: so I will finally be in a M but it better sound good.
I’m on fence with A35 I just did not like the seats and it’s looks in some specs very bland but interior dash great, looking forward to drive in A45s though

Am I the only one that preferred the previous shape? The new shape just looks like a hyundai.

Not alone! I much prefer my old A45, the arse looks like an Audi, I also don’t like the interior, much too tarty and doesn’t feel like a cockpit, just sitting on top of a screen, I just like good quality analogue dials..... I’ve not doubt it’ll be fun to drive though!
