So only thinking of selling seems a shame don’t use it in winter or in the wet so it’s just going sit there (under cover of coarse)
It had a retail price of £81k when new
    I paid £61 k a little over 2 years ago
    The spec is
23rd March 18 reg pre reg plus me as owner
    :speed yellow
:factory fitted front splitter and corners
    :factory fitted diffuser
    :adaptive headlights
    :heads up display
    :Harmon karman
    :black extended leather
    :winter pack inc
    :air scarf and wind deflector
    :heated wheel
It’s had tasteful carbon added inc
    :rear boot spoiler
    :carbon corners rear
    :m performance tips
    :m performance carbon side blades
    :carbon mirrors
    :carbon front over lips
    :m performance wheel caps
It’s got the smart roof box so you can put the roof up and down off the key and while driving at faster speeds
I’ve had the car expel ultimate ppf applied to the bonnet ,bumper .bottom doors sills inner doors mirrors boot lip rear bumper corners .carbon bits at front inc the side blade all covered this cost £1500 to do
The carbon extras with the smart box cost over £2000
The car as 8005 miles as of today full bmw service history inc run in , not mapped or lowered nor ever as it been . Not problems at all it’s been perfect while I’ve owned it . It gets so much attention where ever it goes I’d take the carbon off but it just seems silly to do this as the car needs it and whoever brought it would only add them back on ,
There is not a mark on it no chips no dents immaculate.
    I was offered £42 px
    Wbac offered £38 k
So I’m thinking £38 k plus 10% plus roughly half for the added carbon £1200
    So £43 k
Does that sound about right ? I feel I really want to keep it but really want a McLaren after Xmas and the £3000 in payments I’d save can go towards my new car deposit
It’s a showroom condition low mileage great m4 convertible [IMG]

Lovely M4 mate glwts. I would say whatever WBAC offers you plus around 2k on top the carbon bits will only help you sell quicker rather than make much of a price difference.

The one M4 I liked better than mine! Lovely car.

I reckon that's worth £43k all day long - its a bit special.

try wizzle, a dealer would no doubt snap it up from there as it’s a pretty rare spec

They tend to offer very little, if anything for the extras you’ve fitted, may as well strip it and sell them separately to recoup more money.

Lovely car - I wanted speed yellow with carbon when I spec'ed my F80 but they'd stopped taking Individual orders when I ordered mine in May 18 - yes agree £43k is a good shout while prices remain strong based on a quick look on Autotrader - think I'd start at £43,950 initially - GLWS. My logic on asking for a strong price is that Speed Yellow is a bit marmite - you either want it and will pay for it (as you won't find another) or you would never consider it anyway...

I sold mine on PistonHeads. Thats all you need to be honest. You will get more reliability with them.

You can't think like that. You can also be select with the type of person that is serious about buying your car. For example: If he don't talk the Queens English, so to speak - move on.

Oh and you have not got comfort access, I think :)

Agreed, that's ludicrous. But I also think you're aiming a bit high. It's lovely for sure, but it's even more 'niche' than an F80 or 82. As has been said, Speed yellow is a bit marmite. I love it, personally. Many won't. Or should I say, wouldn't want to own it, whilst agreeing it's nice to look at being someone else's.
As it stands, I'd price it between 40k & 41k.
But GLWTS regardless of price point. It is lovely.

Lovely motor. Mines up for sale on here and if I don't sell I'll be trying on Pistonheads. I know exactly where you're coming from in terms of not wanting to spoil a lovely looking car by removing all the bits.

Thanks. Yes I could try it on here also piston heads only charge £19.99 .
I might just swap it in but go find the right McLaren 570S spider is tough there’s not many out there and it as to be a green or orange one with the right extras. But that will probably drop more than my m4 one will even if it’s after Xmas I do t mind waiting till I get the right one .
God it will hurt tho stripping it back such a shame it looks as they all do much better with the carbon extras

the valuation on there isn’t that great. they put my x3m at 45 part ex 48-50 for a sale

i put my asking price for 55 and it suggested it was too high. it sold yesterday from a dealer who saw my advert on there but also on autotrader for 55

My biggest regret is not taking the new Speed Yellow F82 that was in the dealership when my SMB was delayed being delivered due to the 2018 sand storms. Superb colour. GLWTS
