I am trying to get hold of Darragh at everythingM3, to book appointment to visit his business premises to put a name to the face and see where the magic happens and see the staff

everything M3 is based in Banbury , no other information ?,
I think you have to book appointment before they give you their full business address ?

Yeap, I couldn't find an address either. Its a shame as Banbury is just down the A40.

Have you used all the garages on that list to come to your conclusion ???

Sort of.

Munich Legends - used
BMS Surrey - used
ETA Motorsport - enquired about getting the boot floor done a while ago, customer service over the phone received was not very professional, mixed reviews on the forum (search ‘diff bolt washers’)
BMR - called up for a price for an Inspection 2 for my 8 series (twice) - provided my details and said they would email it over - no email received...
CPC Amersham - never used but have heard mixed reviews from those who have used them
Munich Power - never used but not heard the best of things from those who have used them (search ‘sunroof’ on the forum)
TWG Automotive - never used and only heard good things, did call up for a quote to change the brakes on my Z4 a while ago and remember the price being more than others hence not going with them...
EverythingM3s - too far for me and no courtesy car so is not ideal (have heard only positive things from them however). Reckon I would use them if the diff ever went bang and I fancied shortening the ratios...

The reason I recommend RBM is because of the following:
-It’s a small business who provide good workmanship (only 3 mechanics who are all ex BMW and know what they are doing - unlike other garages where you could have 15+ mechanics meaning any old Tom Dick and Harry or apprentice for that matter could be working on your car)
-Customer service is excellent (they are transparent and keep you updated of the work whilst your car is booked in [and provide pictures and videos etc])
-Pricing is very reasonable (compared to others in London and SE)
-Courtesy car provided FOC
-Ross (one of the owners) is off the Z4Forum (where I came from) so feels good to show support to a business of a fellow forum member.

Hi, firstly apologies for not getting a reply from us! If you could PM me your reg and and approximately when you contacted us I would like to look into what happened?

Customer bookings and enquiries are handled by myself, my business partner Ross and our parts/reception person.

It is unusual for the lack of response so it may be down to a mistake on our part inputting contact details into the system. We get inundated with many requests for quotes and booking through various channels, phone, email, facebook, instagram, various forums, walk ins even my own personal number gets given out so whatsapps, texts, calls, FB messages to my own accounts so occasionally one can slip through the net.

If you dont mind travelling and bring some donuts with you to feed the staff then BMR Performance.
Very knowledgeable and the car park is a delight in itself and the workshop. The owner is a well known for his OCD and meticulous attention to detail especially when it comes to things looking factory and proper. Some of this knowledge especially with E30s has been lost in BMW Dealers and other BMW Specialists mainly (I think) because they work on less of them so they dont accumulate the knowledge and experience he has. Plus he has owned and worked on many of the classics up to the latest BMWs.

Never used them but heard good things about Turner Automotive in Twickenham and they have good reviews and is run by BMW Master Technician who used to work for BMW Group UK.

Other shouts are Birds in Iver who are quite well respected but i have never used them.

Birds are my local and I rang them up before I went with RBM. All I can say is that the phone call put me off using Birds.

They didn't come across Keen do the work. The main aspect of it was the customer service for me wasn't there as the guy came across as aggressive but that could be due to the conversation being over the phone.

Birds are not cheap with their labour rates so probably done you a favour.

Yeah their labour is expensive few years ago i wanted my E30 recommisioned and they were vastly more expensive than when i used barry the owner of BMR. They wanted me to buy brand new parts for some things i needed but i managed to get them second hand through barry and another associate. To get it road worthy.

Just to add, I always used K&M Auto-Technics when I had my E46 M3 CS. Really good bunch of guys.

Admittedly, I’ve not used them for getting on for 6 years (which is clearly a long time, and things could have changed) but now that I’m back in a BMW I’ll be taking the E92 there come service time.
