The OEM Bmw brakes are worst than a chocolate fire guard :muttley: and the OEM clutch is just as bad :( but :( with a BBK and a Sach clutch upgrade the M will drive how it should

Is the clutch responsible for a really slight 'judder' when pulling away from standing, or is that the smg?

Hit me with it then.....how much is the clutch upgrade going to sting me?

    Hi Antony,

It could be either the clutch or the smg causing the slight 'judder'. The only way to check unfortunatly is to take the clutch off and check for sign's of wear or we can try to adjust the Smg first to see if that cure's it. The cost of a new Sach up-rated clutch is £ 616.00inc vat + delivery but of course you get 5% discount off this price

    many thanks Phil

Hello, I am looking into some advice on the Z3 steering rack into a E36 M3 3.0 Saloon? is it a straight swop? how much would this cost and is it a worth while mod?
    Thanks
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Its not something we have done before so we wouldn't be able to advise you. I take it the aim of this is to shorten the rack ??

    thanks Phil

yeah to get less of a throw when turning, the E36 M3 3.0 is a bit slow on turn in and the Z3 rack (non m) is the best to go for apparently.

Both being E36 parts it should be a straight forward swop. But again as we have not done one of these conversions i would'nt like to quote you and be completely out and surprise you with aun expected bill.
