(Hopefully the mods won’t just boot off a group buy thread from a day-old user)

So I am looking to get my (future) e46 subframe tightened up with some plates (Redish, or Vinceskinz if I can wait till sept, or something generic) and a VinceBar.

Jim from Munich Power, as suggested by some people on here, has kindly agreed to help with the install, and Vince suggested checking if anyone else might be interested?
I can imagine most people that wanted a reinforcement got one already, but worth checking

In case anyone is on the fence, if there are 5 people interested there might be a discount to be had on the parts

    Doesn’t this
do the same thing as the sme weld in or bolt in brace? But the sme stuff is way cheaper?

It performs the same function but doesn't intrude into the boot space. The Vince brace is totally hidden.

I’ve been quoted 5750 SEK for the kit and 500 SEK for shipping, for a one off purchase. There is a potential saving on shipping and discount on the kits if buying 5+, hence the group buy thread

Not sure you noticed he's talking Swedish Krona? It's just shy of £500 + delivery without a group discount.

They'll deliver it to you before you weld it in most likely...

Labour charges are reasonable, and there might be a discount for a group buy (i guess?). But yes, this is not the cheapest option.
Although it does have its advantages

Vince offers not only the rear but also front subframe reinforcement with custom extended bolts and prefabricated cups, maybe that’s included in the price.
He also advises on epoxy bonding rather than welding to avoid extreme heat.
I’ve ordered bolts and front cups only, I will use some box section as the brace to keep cost down

Darragh did mine using his own version of this brace. Very good knowing the front and rear RACP is taken care of.
