    Hi all,

I’m after a used pre-LCI F90 M5. I’m quite open to spec so interested to hearing what people have but would prefer the sports exhaust but not the end of the world if it doesn’t have it.

A bit of a long shot but was wondering if anyone is trading one in or part exchanging one within the next month or so?

    Drop me a PM.

    Many thanks in advance.

Have a look at the white M5 at Bowker Blackburn. Looks like a good buy, they’ve had it a while, and I’m sure £55k would buy it, 5k miles only, and an AUC car. A starting point for you at least ?.

thanks for the reply mate. Although I said I’m easy with the spec, white is the only colour I don’t want. I’ve had too many white cars! Otherwise it was a very good shout!

Non comp unless the comp pack is very good priced as I don’t think my budget will stretch to a comp pack

I was hoping the early 2018 would be 45k by now but still holding at low to mid 50s, I will purchase at 45k. Same as what I paid for an 18mth old F10 in Dec 15. Prices seem static at the moment

    I am going disappoint unfortunately.

So I looked at an M8, S63, E63, M760, X5M, and even considered a used Urus and for a few moments believed I might get a used Ferrari California - but each time that I returned to my car it felt perfect, just like a glove and better (in my eyes) than any of those - so I came to the conclusion that I am going to keep the M5.

Really struggling to see anything better (unless you get to Richard Branson levels of spending power)...

Agreed. If you need 4 seats then it’s hard to look further than the M5

I have to say, I’m of somewhat the same opinion. I literally looked at everything this last 8 or so months, and ended up back in another M5. For performance, quality, use ability there is little to touch it. I very nearly bought a 992 Turbo S, but Porsche saw me stick with BMW, it’s quite pathetic, their politics. I know there will be depreciation etc with the M5, but make no mistake, the other high and mighty manufacturers fair not much better imho, and experience. :).
