Quick one lads, noticed tyre pressure from cold dropped to 29psi, they were 32psi from factory.

Went to pop some air in and the machine said I was at 31psi, added a little all round so the machine read 32psi.

Car still shows 29psi when cold and goes to 32/32psi when warm.

Do I go by the machine or the onboard TPM computer?

First time needed to add air btw.

I’d try a proper tyre pressure gauge 1st, always handy to have :)

Yeah, need to order one, any you recommend? Or are they all the same?

Can I not go by the onboard TPM reading or is that not very accurate?

I just did the exact same thing, car was showing 2.1 bar/31 psi all round, so put air in to 2.2 bar/ 32 psi. But on board computer still saying 2.1 bar/ 31 psi all round, all readings taken when cold, I think it is close enough, as I did add 1 psi to each tyre. Not sure which is more accurate, the on board computer or the air machine. But the tyres are all wearing perfectly even, so I think these pressures are close enough.

Will take another reading tomorrow and will take it from there, don't mind buying a gauge, but if the TPM is accurate enough, I'd like to use that.

Aye, I think the TPM is accurate enough, maybe just 1 psi of a difference from the air machine, close enough for me.
