    Hi all,

Anyone know of a trustworthy tyre fitting place in Northants?

Willing to travel a little further if I have to. I just find it hard to find a good tyre place that I can trust.

Used to use Tyres Northampton for years but they scratched my last set of wheels and their customer service afterwards sucked!

    All suggestions welcome - thanks.

I used Scott’s to have some new tyres fitted recently to my newly refurbished wheels and said I wanted them treating like a favourite child so they said I needed so and so to fit them. Can’t remember his name but nice chap. He went round the wheels with me before and didn’t mark them so I gave him “a drink”. It was nice to speak to someone before so they appreciate your feelings and he had a genuine interest in the car.

Heard some bad stories about The Wheel Clinic so I was one of the first customers of the Wheel Specialist, Rothersthorpe Rd industrial estate:
www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk Speak ...so a very nice guy to see if he can help you.

Thanks for the suggestions guys - appreciated.

Interesting how only one tyre place is mentioned!

I've had dealings with The Wheel Clinic before, not impressed but the tyre fitting side of things was good. As that's all I'm after here, they're worth keeping in mind.

How long have The Wheel Specialist been in Northampton, but must be very recent as they're not even listed on their main website.

I used to use the guys at Tyres Northampton. Always great service. Not sure if they're still about.

Yeah, I used to use them for years and they're still there. However, they scratched my last wheels and their customer service is awful. it's really gone downhill.
