I got one from Aldi, £13 and worked well with the small car (I took battery out and charged it at home).

I want to use it on the e90 m3, the charger has a fast charge mode (3.8A), which is quite convenient as I don’t have a garage and have to run an extension lead from the house. if I plug it into the car will it kill the IBS?

    Hi guys,

I just bought a ctek mxs 5.0, based on a flat battery which had to be replaced & the recommendations on here!

Which mode do you use? Car or AGM?

If you're running an AGM battery then you select both, Car + AGM. Just click Mode until both are selected.
