Hi guys just looking for your advice on engine oil and coolant mixture recommendations for track use.

Particularly what are the Nürburgring guys using?

    Thank you

I just use Euros anti freeze and water, nothing fancy needed

I did used to run pure water because that's what the race people like as it doesn't make the track as slippery, but I'd rather not risk my engine when it gets cold and freezes so put anti freeze in it

Tap water with water wetter for water pump lubrication due to antifreeze banned by racing rules here. Would have used tap water with normal anti freeze otherwise.
As for engine oil any fully synthetic 60 viscosity oil, at the moment Liqui Moly 10w-60.

Just water and water wetter as coolant spill or over flow can be a disaster on the 'Ring.

Just remember to put coolant in for winter again

Sound advice. I’ll just run water and stick to Castrol I think

    Nice one cheers lads
Did the oil the other day with the Castrol.
Just waiting for my distilled water to turn up. Half cage went in today. New suspension tomorrow.

Seems like a lot of work considering I can’t use it ha
