Hi John, I met you at Bedford - I had the other stock carbon black M3 running Cups back in May I think it was. I had reached the limit/enjoyment factor tracking a stock setup car so I have just fitted Intrax IK2 and oem 18" square setup running Cup2s all round - ready for the Ring in a week or so.
Aesthetically Intrax look amazing on the car and initial testing on back roads indicate its a completely different car to drive.
I do remember you saying to me that APs weren't worth the money
I do remember but thing change, when I done Bedford in May I done snetterton on the following Monday night and got out braked by a CSL which had the APs, I knew how good the APs were as I had them on my CSL, it was more of the cost of pads and discs that use to piss me off but now my skills have improved I will get the benfit from them now, so I am telling you now they are worth every penny
Hi John, your doing the right thing for track days buddy, the aps with Rs29s are awesome and intrax is fantastic set up on m3s

I think your right there, I am looking forward to getting the car how I want it, any ideas always welcome
Ap's and intrax will go along way to sorting things out, make sure all bushes especially rta's are good, all depends how you drive and how far you want to go, as your car is such a nice example see how you get on with those mods first,

It will be good to see what it can do at snetterton without 4.1 diff.
To late I have most of the bits now just got to get them fitted then set up, I will get some pictures up when I start
The 4.1 will be in by then Billy, I will start pulling the back end out of it in the next couple of weeks, no pain no gain

Quick up date
Just a quick up date of parts that have come in the last few weeks, 4.1 crown + pinion, 100cell race cats ( not your cheap made in china sh-- ), gsr air box, turner motorsport rear control arms, cobra imola seats, 10ml hr wheel spacers front and rear, front steering arms, front hubs, rear inner and outer bushes, rear wheel bearings,6 ngk iridium plugs, 8lt Castrol edge, vanos rubber seals + plate and bolts, cat gaskets , BMW oil filter, more cash to get, more parts to get, pictures will follow when I have all the bits I need and the build starts, regards

All of them, plenty to do, also looking forward to doing the work myself

Very busy, parts still coming in, rear diff carrier bushes ( powerflex ), super sprint back box ordered + all nuts bolts washers for the rear end from bmw, still more to come, if any one has any more ideas on the performance side of things please add to the post, regards
Would recommend clutch delay valve removal
Would that work for smg + manual, I think we met on the piston head fish and chip run, I was the black m3 in your rear view mirror all the way there
