I've got these on mine, and for the moment just the fronts :). They're amazing bits of kit and have worked great with the factory rears, though they don't like my trips down the runway at vmax!:lolwsign:

These are the size and performance of brakes that an M car should have from factory without having to sell a kidney to spec CCBs

Only difference really is this is Radical I whereas the ones I have are the newer Radical II callipers. What that means in the real world I couldn’t really say, but the price is still very good.

The AP product is very very good indeed and I wouldn’t expect any issue running the front with OEM rears. The OEM callipers are actually pretty decent anyway, but when you compare the OEM front pad to the AP pads, you will see why they are so good! I ran a front AP BBK on my E92 and it was no problem at all, ChrisC ran this; or very similar to mine, on his M2 with OEM rears, again with no issues.

The only reason I went front and rears was because I wouldn’t have been able to cope with non-matching calliper colours front and rear and I had the cash at the time! I very much doubt any enthusiast driver such as myself would notice any difference between a car with or without the rear setup.

I had my OEM rears and the AP kit painted before install, like you say, no chance i could live with the different colours!

I can feel the OEM rears letting it down though (but only when braking from serious speed), most people probably wouldn't notice the difference i agree. Soon as budget allow's i'll be having the rears :)

Yes, painting callipers was an option and a really good idea .

I haven’t really pressed on with the brakes since fitting them, I am not one to drive too hard on roads, preferring to go to the track for a proper hoon and just haven’t had time :bh:

Have you any upgrade on the rears, or just bone stock?

Totally agree, I only notice on track / runway.

Tom will be best placed to answer on that, but far as i know the OEM rears run matching compound pads and new lines, stock disks.
