Is that an E30 or E34-style gearknob?!?!?! This has just become my most spontaneous purchase ever.

PS you’ve got a real knack for taking photos, they’re fantastic. Car looks very good, too.

    Thanks!

And yep it is an E30 M3 style gear knob from Storm Motorwerks. The flavour I chose was the Titanium version which looks/feels great. It's heavier than the BMW short weighted sport knob you can buy so the throws have a more robust feel to them. I bought the handbrake handle to match. They're not cheap, but they will also never wear, so a lifetime purchase really.

Awesome short depth of field pics, looks so good!

Car looks to be in excellent order, congratulations

Nice Storm knob, I used to have the same on my Z3 M Coupe in titanium finish also. Lovely!

Ah you didn't keep it when getting the new car? I'd just stick the old one back on or get a new OEM one and keep the Storm :D

Was years back mate and the next owner wanted it. Car came up for sale again recently, 10 years later, and it was still fitted! Lovely piece for a manual

Looks great and your photos make it look even better. Only comment I would make is that your exhaust looks lost with the csl diffuser. Not sure what it is or if it’s just euro tips but think it needs adjusting.

    Cheers

That will be the photo angle! The Euro tips are made to exact fit, there's no adjustment that can be made. I have the CSL diffuser (body colour painted though) and even on the CSL the stock tips tuck in under it however!

Here's a better pic showing the clearance:

Yea it looks better there, must be the angle of the photo. Filth is good, means they get used.

    Cheers
