    Afternoon all,

I've been offshore for a few weeks so hardly seen mine. Booked into Kircaldy BMW for RIS on the 6th Dec :) Should be around 1000 miles by that point.

Absolutely love it, a completely different beast to ma M3. In particular driving in Scotland at this time of year on Cup 2's, I love how its a proper challenge to just keep it on the road :muttley:

Can someone confirm that all the M4CSs have had no OPF exhausts installed at factory?

To the absolute best of my knowledge, none of them had it mate. They were all built around late 17, early 18

Anyone else wonder when these cars are going to slow down on depreciation? I’m getting further and further away from breaking even not closer.

I paid £82k brand new on a 4 year deal, and I’m paying this off, interest free at over £900 a month.

14 months in, I’m getting further and further into neggy...and in the last 6 weeks it’s dropped over £3k on wbac. Currently £49,170. On the 26th October it was £52,250.

Back in the summer I was approx £10k in negative equity. This has been getting worse and I’m now approx £16k in negative.

I want to point out that I do adore the car, but it’s nice to think that throughout the deal your slope is evening out or getting less steep not worse.

So WBAC are currently £13k above my 48 month balloon after 14 months :(

It does grate mate... in a way, it’s taken an element of enjoyment out of the car. As a driving machine it’s great, and when it’s all shiny it looks the business. However financially it’s by far and away, the most suicidal thing I’ve entered into.

But at least you’re still loving it and not wanting to sell up, don’t these have to level out, they’re still very special?

That’s the one saving grace, however don’t get me wrong, with how I feel some days, if the option was there to part with it, it would be nice sometimes. However the fact is, I’m literally stuck with it.

While this is undoubtedly right Melv, I genuinely don’t think it needs to be any quicker. Totally happy with the power/grip levels as it is stock.

Wierdly id love a stage 1 tune on the SQ5 as it could definately use all of the power all of the time.

The very reason I sold mine Colin ! Marshalls have still got it for sale 3 months later currently for sale at £180 more than they gave me for it , like yours it had icons plus ceramics I also put race steering wheel carbon mirrors , side blades , interior carbon it’s immaculate but they can’t sell it !

I adored the car , such fun with looks to match ..... but my X3M is more capable more of the time , ticks more boxes , equally as much fun and in real world way faster , safer plus I’m £380 a month better off ! As your also finding out fast SUV’s are great all rounders ! I use my X3 at least 3 times a week regardless of weather where as my CS was used once a week at most so making the X3 far better value , for me it’s simply a better option .

Completely agree , superb cars whoever buys my old one will get a pampered beauty used but not abused ! There is simply such a small market for them that’s the issue which is why they don’t sell , I bought the 4CS over the 3CS because of the interior I loved it yet most slate it .

Although in hindsight paying high 70’s for the CS as I never used the back seats I’d of been far far better off buying a high specced cayman 718 GTS (Wow what a car) which I could well do ... if I can convince my wife to sell her car and drive the X3M , best of both worlds and I still wouldn’t be much worse off than what my CS was costing me !

As I’m sure Colin will agree ... I don’t regret buying and owning the CS ... but never again .
