Valdas in Motor Confidence in Dublin seems to be doing them regularly these days. I was in with my GTII a while back and I saw an e46 stripped down to get this done, looked a very impressive job.
PM me if you want his contact details.

    No problem at all.
The only other place I can think of is Perfect Car in Dundalk, they might be able to do it.

They all seem pretty unreliable over here... I'm hearing bad reports about a number of them.... It's not rocket science to do it yourself ... The hard part is stripping it down ... If I do mine I'm gonna make my own plates , then just get our welder to weld them on...

By the time you have bought the steel then measured up and cut out the numerous sections. You may as well just buy one of the kits thats availablle.

These guys are the best there is, and highly trustworthy. Delt with them over 10 years now and never had any other that top class service and work. Tho they are primarily porsche specialists they've done work on a couple of my m3's including a full suspension overhaul and geo on an e30. Quite sure a subframe would be no problem. My subframe is perfect but does anyone know if the dealer can do out a certificate to prove that it's perfect? Be nice to add into the service history.

A friend of mine has done a few of these now. He has a bodyshop between Ballymoney and Portrush. Has two E36 M3s, an E46 M3 and an E92 M3. He is an M nut and the work he does is very good. He is the only guy I would let near mine, I know the body shop that does the work for JKC Coleraine and would not want them to touch my car. Two issues is he's not the easiest paid and two he always has loads of work on so hard to get fitted in. He is the guy painting my E36 at the minute.
