Woohoo, trackday done and no issues! Car is finally getting to where I want it. A rubber water seal gave way at the end of the evening but I knew it would as I didn’t replace it with a new one when I changed the pump. Easy to change. Really happy with the car. Roll on the 19th! Game is well and truly on.
Billy, if you are reading this I’ve three words for you,

    Drexler. Fecking. Rocks.

Yes mate, it did, the impeller had come apart on the old one. Thanks for that mate. Unfortunately I didn’t replace one of the small rubber o ring seals that fit on the hard pipe to coolant tank and it was weeping all session, got worse towards the end. No big deal to change though.
Shame you weren’t there, would have been nice to shake your hand mate

Haven't used the car for a while so this was my first event of 2018.

Was a good evening. Perfect weather. Really quiet but nothing really quick to play with apart from a bike engined Caterham which ended up spinning in front of me.

Not sure what's wrong with Javelin? They ran a really good event even though there were multiple stoppages for spectacular engine implosions (S2000) and people driving into walls and stuff. They also ran both groups of sighting laps at the same time so we got a little more open pit time.

Glad you’ve got your car sorted Matt, and good it was something simple! Got mine sorted also, if you remember it was lit up like the perverbial Xmas tree, all I did was change the pads, just couldn’t understand it. Then I remembered when I fitted the new seat, I came across something bolted to the car floor, I thought I don’t need that, extra ounces etc. So I unplugged it and took it out.....turned out to be the yaw sensor.....
    What a d***head!!!!!
    Still all is good now.
Can’t make the 19th will still be slumming it in the Caribbean, but Rob might come and see you all.
Hope you all have a great day, and play nicely boys.
