On my F82 M4 Comp with silverstone leather, I've recently noticed a mark at the base of the back of my driver seat. I think has been caused by my black leather belt. I'm not to sure how long it has been there, but a friend of mine who is more knowledgable than me when it comes to car cleaning tried to get it out with some products, I believe he tried a leather conditioner first which had no affect he then tried autoglym leather cleaner and used a soft brush to try and agitate it.

Nothing had any affect on it at all, it does look quite ingrained in the leather.

I'm hoping someone could recommend a product or method for removing it, it was my fear when buying the car with that colour interior but it just looked so good with the paint!!

Any help or suggestions much appreciated

I don't know the actual process as such but people on here have really good results cleaning leather with Pears soap.
Maybe someone else can comment further. I can imagine silverstone could be a pain though :) But it looks nice!

I had an ex's red hair dye transfer onto my Silverstone seat.

Hot weather, freshly washed hair with dye put in in the morning + her falling asleep = her waking up to a red stain on the headrest.

I used Meguiars Leather Cleaner/Conditioner and a soft microfibre in a circular motion to get it out. I first tried Dr Leather wipes, which made no difference at all to the staion. The leather block however is good and for daily cleaning, the wipes are good.

Pears soap is decent, just wet the bar and wipe it over the area to be cleaned then use a soft micro fibre towel or a soft nail brush lightly. You need to reseal/treat the area after with a good conditioner like gliptone or other

I actually marked my Silverstone leather with my brown belt the other day, autoglym and Dr leather cleaner didn't shift it, so stepped up to LTT dye remover and dye transfer cleaner, and it disappeared in a wipe!
