Here’s mine currently undergoing some maintenance. Doing a rear sub and diff rebuild. Making slow progress with limited time to work on it.
love the colour

This is what she looked like before I started working on her. Now she’s covered in dust. Can’t wait to get it back on the road and give it a good detail before summer. 17A4ADD3-C7B2-479E-ADED-680CB6515E18.jpeg

Do both sides have an aftermarket wing?

I ask, because the side indicator is located directly in front of the door's shutline. The OEM location is just behind the wheel arch.

Arcticevo's pic above your post shows the correct location.

No idea not something I have ever noticed. Not sure why they would be replaced as it’s a clean car. Weird.

Love it and the reg. I'm also based in Ireland and these cars are getting very rare here

Rust free original paint with aluminium doors. About 100k miles

I have replaced the entire cooling system including various hoses
Rebuilt vanos. Afjusted valves. New ac pump, alternator, power steering pump and hoses. Suspension completely rebuilt with oe/oem parts and sachs shocks with eibach springs. Polished the exhaust. New sensors everywhere for the engine. Rebuilt the diff with new clucth plates, rebuilt axles, new guibo, center bearing and cv joint for the driveshaft. New plastic panels underneath and new heat shields. Re-dyed the slightly faded interior. New shifter with new bushings everywhere. Mew fuels pump and fuel lines. Lots of new parts i cant remember on top of my head.

Car is absolutely ready for the road and drives really well. That valve job and vanos really woke it up too.

Only gripes are how quiet the stock intake/exhaust is, and although there is no slop whatsoever in the steering, it is a bit vague on center. Plans are the purple steering rack and the e34 solid steering coupler. Perhaps some messing about with the intake.

Just wanted to share this beauty with fellow owners. Have nice day

In her prime, first photo.

How she looks now, second photo.

She's been a bit neglected by me over the last few years, sitting in the garage with very little use, but I'm slowly bringing her back to her prime.

Did already update my project thread earlier this month, but might as well sling a couple of photos in here too! Putting some miles on her now the weather's picked up.

Weird, car is full facelift, but has the pre 1995 seats.

Some nice work having been done there.

How do you find the sachs/Eibach combo? I’m getting a B12 kit fitted shortly, but read very conflicting views on harshness of this kit - some say it’s compliant, others suggest it’s harsh. Wondering if the sachs would be a better match

Some absolutely beautiful cars here and fantastic projects with lots of hard work. Any excuse to share a photo of my long standing project.

I tried i few different colors of oe springs first, pink green and blue if i remember correctly. But they all rose too high imo. So i ordered the eibachs and fitted them.
Car seems to roll less in corners, and handle better overall. Not crashy at all. Really liking the ride. But we dont have many potholes or poor roads here so ymmv. But definitely more stiff and less roll

Quoting myself, I see it also has earlier doorcards. Probably comes from the same interior that was fitted.

It also has the 3.0 wheels. For now. Though i like them best. Previous owner switched from cloth to leather for whatever reason.
