Gotta say though if I planned to drop £10k+ on a kettle, I think I’d have tried it on and decided it was too big before handing over the cash, unless I hadn’t planned to keep it in the first place :)

It’s pretty obvious he tried it on in the shop. The ADs always size it to your wrist and remove the stickers when you pick it up.

Not judging you but it’s better to just admit you are flipping it.

Advertise on Chrono24... Will sell pretty quick being 2020 piece and not a stupid asking price at all. Worst case scenario there's always Watchfinder:rolleyes:

Lol overhyped... who cares... Call me a follower, but I'd rather the profit and the ownership for a period of time, on Rolex sports models. Get paid to wear something smart for 6 months and then move on for another one:muttley:

All these really stupid comments no offence but everyone complaining about the OP selling for 2k more than rrp clearly have no idea about Rolex prices and demand for such models. You need to wait nearly 3-5 years now to get the popular Rolex models these days at rrp price and people do this and sell them straight after due to the simple supply and demand that these Rolex models demand. I have a daytona paid 11k 5 years ago now worth 17k second hand and people are queuing up to buy it, unfortunately this is how Rolex watches work at the moment and heir only going up. So all those having a go at the OP go do your research and if you don’t want to pay market rate get on the waiting list for a new one at rrp as that’s the only way your getting one at that price ......

As a Rolex owner myself, I’m fully aware of the situation.

The point I was making was that everyone was fully aware of what was going on so there was no need to make up a story about it.

He could sell it for a billion dollars for me, I don’t give a toss and I probably know more about the Rolex market than many here (reading back, that sounds arsey, but watches are my primary hobby).

My issue is the utter [email protected] of a story. I wouldn’t buy off the fella if it was ten pound sixty three.

Fair enough, just came across like an excuse. As if you didn’t want to admit it was a flip.

Anyway, end of the day it’s your watch to do with as you please. Not judging you for selling it for market if you don’t want it. Have to say it’s a lovely watch.

I would be careful where you advertise it though. You may end up getting black listed at your AD if they find out you are selling straight away. Has happened to a lot of people.

You’d have to be stupid to drop £10k on a watch then realise it’s too big however you’d also have to be very stupid to believe your story.

no one cares just sell it for a profit and shut up
