Some cracking motors there buddy !
def was mate, when i got there i thought wow.....nice to keep up with my friends r8 until he got used to the track, they pull hard and the ceramic brakes are perfect!
The GT3's would have disappeared had they been driven properly.
Why does the R8 look like someones sat on it? Air bags?
Air suspension mate and the gt3's are a focused track car not a fast coupe....the slicks helped me and I agree in the right hands the Porcshe would be up there with the r8 although they are not that quick in a straight line (not as quick as I thought anyway)
Yep I agree ref the GT3's. M3's aren't massively different to standard GT3's in a straight line, but they do walk/jog away under power.
I've lapped many many times with GT3's and they're just on a different planet when it comes to track work.
Good times on track though, reminds me I need to book a few days.
Get them booked up mate!
On track a GT3 is quicker than a stock m3 but a track focused m3 can give most cars a run for their money , the trouble with a trackday is too many people judge cars and don't take into consideration the driver !
I was there with some friends, were in the back of some of your shots ..red e36 and purple golf vr6.
I must have nearly 150 shots each of your E46 and that R8 kept me entertained all day.
The sound of your e46 was something else and was well up there with the r8
Cheers mate I remember your cars very nice that's the roughe xpipe on mine which made the great sound....when's your next one?
Not sure when we'll be there again its a 5 hr journey from where we live in Barrow in Furness .
Not sure but i think oulton park is maybe the next outing .
When i get chance I'll put some of the pictures and video s up i did
