    so basically you had them
    On backwards?
As there is no adjustment on the hangers.
I did that on one of mine when I fitted the eisenmann and it is was not level so had to swap it round lol :lolwsign:

It depends what the rest of your exhaust set up is but yes rasp is there but more aggressive and different tone.
Here is a comparison with stock back box and supersprint lightweight race.

The replica we are discussing here sounds pretty much the same.

I bought one and am very happy with it.

It fitted bang on and sounds great.

It is a little droning below 2-2.5K but above that it's fine.

    Deffo recommended.

well that's £450 burning a hole in my pocket now...

has anyone noise tested it? I would hate for it to not be track friendly as my M3 is a dedicated track car!

    thanks

So for the review after doing a few hundred miles:

Sound wise, it is loud. The video quoted above from Zaharias is a very accurate representation of what you get from the replica. It is a fantastic sound; thunderous and much less tinny than the OEM exhaust. On the motorway there is a drone at approx 2.5k. This is in line with the cars natural drone that my Eventuri kit also highlighted. By no means crazy, but it is there.

Quality wise, it is fantastic. The welds, construction and materials all match that of an exhaust well over £1,000 from an established brand. It looks fantastic also and sits really well in the diffuser.

For me though, it is a case of slight impulse and inadequate research. I regularly do early morning drives, so the Supersprint LW race is not good match for me in that respect. It would be much better suited to a weekend car to make it that much more special.

So regrettably I am going to sell the system on (if anyone is interested please let me know).

Having said that, Hal (the supplier) has excellent customer service. If he could work on the sport version I’d happily be a customer again. For anyone looking for the Supersprint LW Race experience then this is exactly the same at £1,000 cheaper. It really is a no brainer.

I’ve attached a photo below for the final fitment, and as mentioned, if someone is looking for an exhaust like this and lives in the Sussex area please let me know.

I’m also happy to answer any more questions

It's definitely a loud exhaust back box compared to others..
    Supersprint's tone is unique.
Too bad you didn't like it and have to remove and sell it.

I’ve got an eisenmann sport and that works great with my eventuri you can hear them both working well with each other, I’d say any louder than the eisenmann sport or the supersprint sport would drown out your eventuri induction.

I must be the only person on here that wants a quieter car lol.

At 39, I think I'd be hiding below the window line if anyone I knew saw me making that much noise.

agreed there are exhausts that make ‘noise’ and there are exhausts that have a ‘tuned tone’ and there’s a huge difference!

Iam 39 also and have a 3 year old son!
I have Schnitzer back box and 100 cell cats.
It will be a bit louder for sure. I will post pics and videos. I plan to disable the cold start.

If you are going from a stock exhaust to this SS copy it will definitely be a big change. You must like the unique supersprint tone and the loudness.
