Can anyone recommend a good website to offload a nearly new unworn Rolex watch? Ideally looking to make money on the sale as we know certain models sell more second hand than when bought new! Thanks
True- selling sites charge a fee A garage selling your car charge a fee Auction houses charge a fee Not worth moaning about- if you don’t want to pay it sell it yourself?!
How about seeing what websites like Watches of Switzerland will offer you for it? Or maybe putting it through an auction house if it's a sought after model.
Put it up for sale on here or any other forum your on, if it doesn’t sell that way then you will have to pay some sort of fee for selling on other platforms.
However you want As SURAJ said Sell it yourself through private advertising sites Approach auction houses and find out what it’s worth and their fee Go to watch buying companies and find out what they would BUY it off you for and failing that their fee to sell it for you Lots of ways- if it’s a collectors item worth a lot then it’ll sell- just depends how much you want to take for it
By your calculation of fees, you’re expecting £15k ish. If it’s a Hulk, they’re not currently quite that strong. A trade offer on the right watch may be equal to a private sale type site after fees. There’s a multitude of traders out there and the route I always take to avoid scams and tyre kickers.
