I’ve recently fitted a driver side pole position and just wondering whether it will be a issue when mot time comes as access space to the rear are limited, could they fail you because of this reason ?

    thank you

It's not clear from reading the DVLA documentation. I don't think you can fail for lack of access to rear seats and having rear seats is not a requirement for a car's roadworthiness.

Just before having mine installed I asked my MOT station, whom I have been using for a few years, said that they would require a seat runner to be fitted and the warning lights to be coded out. Then they would be happy to pass me.

I'm not sure about the technical legality or adherence to the law here as MOT testing can sometimes be a murky and subjective topic but this is just my experience.

For what it's worth, lot's of other Cutters have had bucket seats installed to an E92 and not had problems getting an MOT.

No problem! I think you should be fine though.
