Called Rebuild after reading good words here on Cutters… had the car booked elsewhere but the car was un-drivable due to constant limp mode.
We managed to fit in a time that suited us and Ben came out last Friday night after work from Kent (I’m in Herefordshire!!)… fitted both acks in no time at all.
Drove over 400 miles this weekend and the car is smoother, more responsive and just feels newer, if that makes sense.
Word of warning though… beware of the improved throttle response, wind yourself in to it as I was about 3 miles from home and VERY nearly came a cropper as there was way more throttle than I have been used to at that point on the pedal input!
Great service, brilliant price, do it if you need to. Thanks Jason & Ben.

As Pete says just crack on and call them. They've done 100s of Cutters cars. Service is quick, efficient and no BS.

I think they have done everyone's e9x on here.

Ben came out and did mine about 3am on a shady industrial estate in the middle of nowhere. Long story but absolute legend.

During the worst of the snow, Ben who works with Jason at Rebuild, managed to get three throttle actuator jobs done, of which I was the last. He battled through the snow from up north, down to me in the midlands for 10.15pm! He had a 3 hour journey back to Kent after that. He did the job quickly and smoothly and the new throttle actuators work perfectly. It comes with the peace of mind of a warranty that is transferable with the car, and is around half the price or less compared with the inferior part fitted at a main dealer! Total no brainer!

Exceptionally dedicated people at Rebuild! Thanks Jason and Ben.

Had my actuators replaced over the weekend. Fantastic, quick and reliable service from both Jason and Ben. Ben the mechanic is very knowledgeable and is a proper enthusiast!

More than half the cost of new actuators from BMW, and lifetime warranty - no brainer really!

There is someone who doesn't understand how an ECU works.

+1 for me... IIRC the guy came to me and fitted for around £650.

Beats the sh1t out of taking it to the nearest stealer and paying £1800 to have the flawed OEM parts fitted.

Yep, done some for me 3 weeks ago, I removed mine, drove to Kent where Jason was waiting with exchange ones, drove home fitted in the afternoon, all sorted, super service, can’t recommend highly enough.

Bookmarked their website for future reference. Good to know they exist.
What’s the average mileage the actuators tend to go at?
