Is there a way to know if your rear view mirror glass has been changed??

Possibly. If I changed the glass then I put a MirrorJohn warranty sticker on the arm of the mirror.

If somebody else changed the glass performing a DIY, then it wont be obvious from the outside. The replacement glass I sell has a MirrorJohn warranty sticker on the back of the glass. However you will need to take the mirror apart to check, which is not ideal.

Have you performed the test to see if the mirror is dimming fully and uniformly?

That's good news. Assuming the glass hasn't been changed and it is still original: just make sure you keep an eye on it. They all seem to fail at some point. Not an issue if you are aware of this and are on the look-out for it
