Hi. As per my post on the 'fault' section I've been advised to post here.

I've got an issue with my rear view motor not dipping (I actually think it's permanently dipped as it's a bronze colour all the time). Ive heard about the LCD leaking but there appears to me no damage to mine other than it not dipping. How much will it cost to get if fixed?

    Thanks

    Mike

    Hi Mike.

The mirror should be a normal silver mirror colour. If it looks a bronze colour it has failed I'm afraid. The good news though; is that a completely uniform bronze colour means no liquid has leaked out (yet). Once you see a silver strip at the top the fluid is starting to leak and cause damage.

You can buy my new improved auto-dim glass directly from me and repair it yourself following my easy step by step DIY guide here:

Cost to Cutters for my auto-dim glass unit is only £95 delivered.

Let me know if you have any questions Mike

That's great thank you. Do you offer a service where you will replace the glass in the mirror? I don't work on my cars myself. Cheers.
