I just found out something rather cool about the rear\brake lights on my M3
when one bulb blows there is a backup which takes over, in the light cluster on the boot lid.

Yeah its cool, I just looked in the manual the graphic of the rear light cluster says backup :) seems it detects whether the brake light or tail light has malfunctioned and switches the backup on, and then once you replace the affected bulb goes back to normal operation

    really mate? nice one!!

my bass player is leaving the band actually, not until we find a suitable replacement but still he's told us he's leaving...

fuckin hard work finding someone who not only can play well, but who's a decent person who you can get on with/take the piss out of etc, ya know?
did you do session work then or with an established band? anything i can listen to ??

if ya (or anyone for that matter) want to send me a PM of your add i'll send ya'z a copy of our album (while i'm in a good mood) if ya want....

i'd be intersted in listening to your work mate.....

Actually I would agree with you on that, I started on the bass, always loved the sound of it, I blame Geezer Butler, black sabbaths bass player for it

I played with a band called Rogue Island for 7 years, wrote most of the music and toured europe. I also played in Lionsheart for their "Pandoras Box" european and Japanese tours. that was doubleheadliner with american band Lillian Axe. I was a teacher of the 4 strings of doom for 10 years.

one of rogue islands demo cd's got highly reviewed in kerrang. Played at the marquee in london countless times.
did a bit of standin work with various other musicians over the years and probably played close to 500 gigs across europe. Japan was extremely cool being a rock star type, had a good time there.

Green peace used to harrass me as my bass rig was so damed loud it used to confuse humpback whales.

I agree with you, finding a musician who is good, creative and fits in personality wise in a band is damn difficult.

I would like to hear your music, that'll be grand
