RD Motorsport - M specialist - Edinburgh - Recommended

Trusted M specialists are often hard to come by...

Last week I used RD Motorsport as recommended by others on here. They are at Newbridge Roundabout in Edinburgh.

Had my E46 M3 in for Cylinder Head Gasket repair, Vanos checks, and a few other engine parts.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Kept me informed throughout and sent a load of photos of the work as it was ongoing.

Rob is very knowledgable and knows these cars inside out. He has a genuine love for M cars

I've just had a look at his facebook page and his latest post is about replacing the rod bearings on an e92 M3.

Good to know there could be someone to do that kind of work up here.

+1 for Rob @ RD! I've had loads of maintenance done (actuators, bearings, servicing etc.) and a few mods too and can't recommend him enough!

Rob done the rod bearings on my E92 M3. Good job and recommended.

I put my E92 down to Rob for rod bearings after my local specialist told me he wasn't interested.
I also asked him to give the car a once over, replace the thermostat and after a good discussion give it a major service.

I generally do all of my own work and after a discussion with Rob I felt that the car was in safe hands. When I arrived to pick the car up, he had all of the parts he removed on the bench and took the time to go through them all. Pointing out what was wrong with them.
Will definitely be back down in the future

Rob is an Absolute M Wizard and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my Pride and Joy his attention to detail is just crazy. He has fitted springs, hybrid turbos, downpipes along with all the general servicing requirements cant recommend Rob enough your M is in safe hands !
