Yeah I'm starting to think I got a bargain on them looking at other prices. Some people are selling used ones with **** tyres for more money!

I've got them down as a £2000 option when new !!

Has anyone fitted the mud flaps yet, one thing I have noticed, is all the water and crap sprays up on to the deployable side steps that are stowed away ?

That's exactly what i'm after, i think you had a good deal there especially with tyres! I'm in no hurry the ones I have are ok (21" with decent Pirelli Scorpions all round) but will need to change soon!!

My bugbear are the footprints on the side steps once used!!! Don't want to spray them with anything though in case they become slippery!

I can't decide if I like how they look or not. Could definitely do with them as the lane we live on is like a farm track, every time I go down it the bottom of the skirts/rear bumper is covered!

I’m looking now as I really would like one and with your comments above, it has only made me want one more.
Only two questions, 4.4 or 5.0? and RR or RRS autobiography dynamic?

SVR has to be top of the list for anyone (especially if you're not towing). I went and sat in a RR and RRS and the RR just felt too big for what I needed it for.

This is my first diesel and I never would've gone diesel if my journeys weren't mainly towing 2200kg, I'd be going petrol without even thinking about it otherwise!

Someone at Oulton Park yesterday towed their GT3RS with their RRS SVR but that's serious levels of money if you're towing a GT3RS around as your track toy!

I had to do some towing today:bh:

We had 2 large deliveries today so I thought I would move my van into one of the fields to allow more unloading room, however I cut the fields yesterday which were way overdue resulting in excess grass residue. Drove the van into the field and due to the landscape it got stuck.....SVR to the rescue :muttley:

Looking forward to seeing some pics soon matey

The SVR will tow like a maniac, but you might as well be throwing £5 notes out the window as you're doing it, haemorrhaging petrol out the back end :D

I would have an SVR if it was for me, but its wasted on my wife, this is the comfy moving arch chair Autobiography Dynamic, it is just perfect for her and for me and what we want it for, its totally over the top opulent, high up Limo luxury with all the toys, and its cheap to tax and cheap on fuel as well. Brilliant car, love everything about it.

Don't know a better car, that fits the remit !!

For all you RRS owners what mods have you already done or planning to do? I'm getting itchy to get things bought! Here is my shopping list so far....

22" 508 alloys (not paying high ebay prices!), the hunt continues
PowerfulUK 2018+ rear lights (when they arrive in stock)
Replace the pointy down tailpipes for straight ones - would removing the boxes at the back make it sound crap? (4.4 sdv8)
Additional sub woofer in the back - will start this this weekend!
Soundproofing of doors and boot - meant to make a big difference to the speakers
2018 rear bumper - not sure on this one, I have the electric towbar so limits me from buying second hand

Mine has the stealth packs most things are satin black already, i've fitted the Evolved sideskirts now as well.

Are there any other toyshops apart from PowerfulUK where I can take a look at what is available (don't want to put bodykits and crap on it)....

I'm waiting for the 2018 rear lights too and then an OE carbon interior pack. Then I'm done!

Just fitted the OE carbon wing mirrors, the quality is perfect as with the other parts I've recently fitted.

Fitted sequential/sweeping mirror indicators too, but mainly because they are tinted! If I could've gotten normal on/off ones tinted I would've gone for them as none of the other lights sweep.
