gotta figure how to turn it on first! Lol
worked! Champion! Cheers pal
pretty straight forward buddy!
not ps5 but XBOX X package in stock at costco if any good to anyone?
Out of stock when you try and order mate.
ah crap, sorry mate!
No worries bud, they seem to go instantly! My HotStock app hasn't pinged any updates recently either!
HotStock says that Very had it in stock yesterday from 13:36 to 17:15 but I doubt that's correct as I tried to order around 14:00 and it was out of stock.
Costco has stock of Series X if you are fast
Tried to order, said out of stock.
Bloody good this Xbox thingy me Bob!!!!
stock dropped at game right now gents.
has anyone managed to get one today? Argos and Ao both had stock.
Very is teased to be dropping today too.
A real shame there are still supply issues 3 months after launch. I really would like to pick up a PS5 from a retailer without having to get in a mad stock frenzy. Anyone heard anything about future increased steady stock?
try signing up for stockinformer and make sure alerts are set. You gotta be straight on it tho. My wife got x3 before Xmas
I believe that there are huge stock intakes coming in for Argos, Amazon, Game, Smyths and Very during both the first and last weeks of March. We’re talking tens of thousands of units. There are a number of Twitter accounts that monitor the incoming stock, and they are all reporting similar news.
You’d be very unlucky to not get one in the coming weeks. I’ve not been checking, but apparently the scalper prices are coming down which would support the fact that more and more people are beginning to get their hands on one, and so reduce the scalper demand.
Edited to add Game pre-order bundles.
Edit, posted a wrong thing
There's defo a few coming as I've found out.
The main problem is the demand in the UK runs into millions so the tens of thousands that's drop don't scratch the surface. Sony also still aren't producing many due to the lack of Critical Components that they are not being supplied with.
Argos had some in stock last night, the website was having a melt down and appeared to not be working, it took me 2 hrs of messing about from 1:30am to get one in my basket for my son (I bought one a couple if weeks a go, long story).
Each time I tried to order it said there was a problem with the card or stock. I kept ploughing through different cards and different stores to rule out the card or store, still the same error. Tried home delivery, seemed to work but hung and the session died. I gave up and went to bed annoyed.
I checked my emails this morning I was like WTF, all of them processed, yup and all the payments doh.
I've been thinking about what to do, as I've almost turned into a scalper by accident. I recently gave up trying to get a ps5 and bought an Xbox series X instead, I then got a ps5 the same day so was going to sell the Xbox and give the difference in money to charity. I then found a lad who had been trying for months to get one so sold it to with for what I paid.
I've since been thinking that although the lad was made up and it was really grateful. I started thinking maybe I should have sold it for more on eBay and given the difference to a charity. I've given a lot in the past to a local food bank / homeless and justified giving it to the lad as really the gov should do more and people like me shouldn't have to help fund it. However the reality is they don't and I've been thinking I poss made the wrong decision.
My thoughts are this, 1) if people really want a next gen consoles, they can just wait and they will defo get one eventually at RRP, it's hardly a major issue. 2) if they are splashing out RRP for one then they are in a fortunate position unlike people who struggle to put food on the table or don't even have a house/table. 3) If they buy from eBay over rrp it's their choice and they are the same as
So now I'm thinking would it be wrong to bang these on eBay and give the difference to charity. Robin Hood kind of thing?
It pains me to give a corp like eBay free fee money for nothing as this is also pushing up what people are selling them for.
I guess I could see if I can get a refund on them and just go and get the one I need, but why not help others if possible?
Wow, you had a busy night.
I too had a busy night. I knew that Argos normally drop their PS5 stock in the 1am-4am region of the morning. I also knew that there was going to be a drop last night/early morning. I stayed up until 2am (trouble sleeping) refreshing the page whilst in bed on my iPad. Absolutely nothing in stock showing. I then went to sleep, (dozing more like) when I woke at around 4:30am.
Whilst I was awake, I decided to try the Argos site again as I was awake anyway. To my surprise, it was in stock. I ordered one without a hitch, and it gets delivered between 7pm-10pm tonight.
I just hope it turns up, as I know some have been going “missing” in transit.
I’ll buy one off you and denote a bit to charity (screw ebay and their fees)
Or screw scalpers…
