The pre-lci weren’t called icons. They were called adaptive led’s. I fitted them to my f36. Brilliant lights. One of the brightest headlights I’ve ever experienced on a car. Much brighter than the xenons factory fitted to f36.

Have you something to prove this? I’ve never seen them referred to as icons. I have a brochure from 2014 and they are just called adaptive led on that??

Never saw them called icons when I did my car. Also never saw them called icons by any other reference until the…icons/LCI came out.

This isn’t the first time this conversation has been had here
