FWIW, I’ve been using Angel Wax products when I don’t send the car off somewhere. I’d used pads from Adam’s as well and all works fine. As @Mumen Rider said, you find a product you like and you usually stick with it.

Flex pads are excellent.

For a one step polish sonax perfect finish is hard to beat

Don’t worry that it mentions cut, all polishes/compounds will have a level of cut, for finishing you just need low cut high gloss

Given the time and prep and fact its harder than it looks and ultimate risk.. i done bonnet and wings on the wifes car and gave up. Its a days work to do it right and im better off paying a professional. Sold the kit to a mate/sprayer 20 mins after packing it up lol.

It does take time!

for harder paints over the years i've had great results with the Scholl concepts range of polishes as supposed to the older diminishing style compounds.

pads will also help when trying to correct hard paint, wool pads generally give around 30% more cut too
