I don’t think the 666 wheels look too bad in grey compared to the 437’s they look smaller in grey then black for some reason in my opinion

You can keep both. Jack will retrim Alcantara over the OEM leather IIRC. I think someone here went to Jack to have a leather retrim done but wanted to retain the heated function.

He won't do a complete strip down.

    Update
went to the dealers yesterday to see the car now its been painted / wheel refurb. looks great they've sprayed the whole bonnet and bumper so made up with that only thing it shows up the bottom of the doors now, defo need stoneguards/ mudflaps. went for a test drive unfortunately it was raining pretty badly but got the general feel for the car certainly a step up from an m135i.
1 thing though they brought the car round for me and the temperature gauge was cold but all the amber lights had gone out bar the last one on the rev counter. would these not usually go out as the car warms up salesman told me it was normal he thinks.?
2nd thing if you use the paddles then leave it does it revert back to auto like a zf gearbox would as it didn't seem to ?
still a few issues before hopefully collecting tomorrow afternoon

Dealer still hasn't put ris on I drive
Came up on dash key battery needed changing
And when spraying the front bumper they've had surround view cameras out and the picture on the screen is upside down so there sorting that

fingers crossed all will be ok for tomorrow

anyone got a link to stone guards / mudflaps for front and back ?

    Thanks
    Tom

Once cold start has gone, I think you have 3 amber bars and 2 red. On cold start, I think it's 5 amber and 2 red, I'm going totally off memory on my own car.

I have to push the gear selector to the right to put it back on auto after using the paddles. Not sure about the lights on the revs tbh but I have not noticed just one yellow on start up, there is usually a few yellows

The lights come on at 5500rpm when cold iirc, and go out quickly.

The temp gauge is oil (not water) so it's normal for the gauge to not have a reading and all the lights to be out.

With the paddles, if you mean will it let you hold a gear and bounce off the rev limiter then yes it will, if you mean if the car was in Manual when you switched off, then will it be in manual when you restart the car, then no it always starts in Auto, but it's no hardship to push the lever over or pull a paddle to switch it back to manual.

Thanks for all the replies seems the amber lights going out before the temp gauge reads is the norm Which is good to know.
I ment about the gearbox in an m135i when you flick a paddle say to change up early if you don’t touch a paddle again it automatically goes back into auto mode unless you push the gear leaves over. But I know now. Considering the salesman worked for bmw he wasn’t up on his m cars.

Well bmw have rang today to say it’ll be ready to collect tomorrow at 3pm so getting excited now just need to go to work first.. typical
