After about 12 months of looking at M3’s and asking numerous questions on here and watching probably every YouTube video on them I’ve finally put down a deposit today. I’m Made up an F80 has been a dream car for me for a long time.

I had a thread on here about a signal green car where I touched on this car and going to view but here’s the spec

    66 plate comp pack
    1 owner
    34k miles
    Sakhir orange
    Full silverstone leather
    Carbon trim
    Sliding armrest
    Heated rear seats
    Heated steering wheel
    Sun protection glass
    Adaptive icon LED headlights
Head up display (speed limit display)
    Harman Kardon
    High beam assist
    Internet
    Rear view camera
    Surround view
    Comfort access

it’s not fully prepped yet but agreed in the deal to -
    refurb 2 wheels (diamond cut)
Spray bonnet and front bumper bonnet has large stone chip and bumper has large scuff on one side
Remove small parking dent from rear door.
Add run in service to I drive (not on I drive just recorded on key at the min)

So once them jobs are all done to a satisfactory standard il be collecting all being well.

Due to them doing the jobs and lots of interest in the car I only got a couple of hundred off the asking price Despite trying my best so paying £36300 which isn’t too bad from a bmw dealer with AUC Warranty.

Originally I was looking for YMB but this came up locally and a comp pack YMB with silverstone leather was proving hard to find.

    plans are just

    Full detail
    New mats & boot liner
    Maybe springs and spacers
I’d like to send the steering wheel to jack Royal to retrim in Alcantara but think this would do away with the heating so il see how I get on.

Here’s a few pics of it unprepared at the dealers

Lovely car mate, im not sure but i think you can keep the heated wheel as long as its not changed for a flat bottom one.
    Not 100%

Beautiful car and at that price with that spec that’s a great deal! Also if you send your wheel off to Jack to re-trim it will maintain the heated function which is why people with heated wheels opt for this rather than the M Performance one.

Also I would definitely say get springs and spacers, changed the look of mine completely! But if you do make sure you get some PPF or mud flaps as the road rash destroys the rear arches and in SO you can really notice it, after 500 miles my arches looked awful.

Beautiful F80 M3. Well done getting the stealer to fix the issues. As you say may sure you're satisfied.
I'd get PPF if I had a newly sprayed front end and rear arches. I intend to get this done in the spring.
    Keep us updated

Very nice car and looks so much better than the M4 in my opinion.

Awesome looking car mate, I've just bought a '67 plate F80 CP in Sakhir Orange too. Collect soon.

You've got come some decent options on that car, let's hope BMW sort the little bits for you before you collect.

I too was thinking of ordering an alcantara wheel from Royal on their exchange service - probably wait a while first though. I wanted a light leather interior myself, I will keep my eye on eBay I reckon to see whether I could swap at some point. Hmm

100%. I’m not a fan of the competition wheels in silver, but in black I think they look amazing.

Great colour. Great spec, deffo go for PPF is you're going to have a freshly painted bumper and bonnet, just make sure they're painting all of the bumper and all of the bonnet, not just flicking in a corner.

they have said they will paint the entire bonnet and bumper due to the colour being hard to match. I have said I hope it’s not a man in a van doing it like I’ve seen at other dealers and going into a proper body shop they’ve assured me it is so can only give them the benefit of the doubt. Not being funny it’s not a cheap car it’s got to look right. Il look into ppf
