Just curious if anyone has any experience of the Trofeo R for trackdays given PS4S grained in a short time on a hot/dry track?

    Thanks, Steve

They're incredible. I've been in a few E46 M3s on track with Trofeo Rs and the grip levels are like nothing else.

They're a good semi slick tyre and up there with the best for out and out grip.

They have soft sidewall which makes them nice to drive on the road too.

Only negatives are that they're pressure sensitive and they wear quick.

how long would you get out of them seeing as they are only 5mm, I know that is hard to say but are you looking at half the lifetime of a michelin 4s?

The comments about the soft side walls are true. MY KW CS's are fully adjusted for maximum camber at the front and the outside edge of the tyres are wearing prematurely.
I need to find a solution to this as the general wear rate seems really good actually.

Only used mine on the road so far but I’m very pleased with the grip on offer.

I have those 295 on the rear and they grip amazingly. Use them on a daily basis. In sure they would be amazing for track!

And at high speed they sound like a diving Spitfire, which is a bonus.

    Sorry, only just spotted this.
The only thing that is standard on the car are the ARBS lol. It has KW CS 3 ways, GT4 aero, ap brakes, remap etc etc.

    Plus I’m a nutcase

Maybe worth checking with Pirelli to see. As the Cup 2 is soft, and is 35psi hot. Could be why the sides are rolling over. Made a massive difference to the Cup 2, and now they wear evenly at last.

Any reason the arbs are stock?

The lap time sounds amazing really. Good work. I'd love to jump in some time.

EDIT: yeh wouldn't mind knowing more about tyre pressures. I was at 32 front 34 back with 265/295 setup.
