Hit a pheasant that promptly exploded in the rear view mirror in a cloud of feathers. Didn’t think any more of it until I got home and noticed the grill at the bottom of the bumper took the brunt of the impact. It’s more or less fully detached and bent badly. Luckily the clips on the bumper are all intact.

I’m guessing the bumper needs to come off to replace the grill?

Unlucky mate (worse luck for the pheasant though!).

Assume you're talking about the honeycomb grill below the number plate? I'm pretty sure you'll need to take the bumper off to replace

Thanks. Some good tips to get it back in place, but it's badly bent and there is no chance of straightening it out. Looks like the bumper is coming off. Luckily there is no damage to the radiator.
