Where you getting your Geo done Pete?
Spires again. Matt did it last year, extremely happy with it, just that I’ve removed weight from the rear, added a bit to the front, so it’s just to confirm it’s still good and not moved much, maybe slightly more aggressive on the front.
Thought so - my car is with Matt at the moment, I'm picking it up Saturday morning
What sort of camber will you be going for front and back?
All of it
3.5 front. 2.5 rear.
Some pics and another DT movie.
I might see you there then, I’m arriving at 10am.
pretty hefty then. I've been trying 3 front and 2 rear but the rear seems slidey compared to the front.
Cars looking amazing as always man!
Ed, your car fixed up now?
Pete is your Drelxer LSD the dogs b9luxs with those 03G's?
It’s such a surprising difference, I’m actuallt now not regretting paying for it. One of the best mods really, even at the high cost.
Superb to hear, look forward to the videos.
What a beast, hats off to you mate. If I had an e92 I think this is exactly the direction I would take with it.
Just read this from start to finish awesome
After my ring trip, there are a few more tweaks required.
More power and less weight really. To the end I’ve found someone who can map the S65 with cams, and I’ve also spied a Syvecs ECU which will make the job easier.
Still need to reduce weight, so I’ve bought Legless’s spare CF bonnet, I’m also investigating a Liteblox battery and CF propshaft deal.
I’m also swapping the AiM Solo and SmartyCam for a VBox HD2.
Peter, from non-BMW experience (Caterham), Syvecs is a great idea but tread carefully with CF propshafts. Epic car by the way.
Finally found the time to give this a read, awsome quality build, love what you’ve done with it.
car looked to be going really well over there Peter, it is a real weapon now, something to aim for!
