Omega Speedmaster 3511.50 from the mid 90s (serial dates it as approx 1995).

In great condition and was serviced and overhauled last year, keeps perfect time. I have the receipt as proof of this.

No box or papers but is 100% genuine and a great classic looking racing chronograph.

Is on a new racing rally style strap which further gives it the motorsport classic look.

Cheaper than others due to lack of papers, but this is the better 3511.50 model which is superior to the more common Speedmaster reduced as this uses the better Valjoux automatic chrono movement. You can read about the differences here.

Hi mate, I'm the opposite, I think it looks too modern on steel, the racing strap gives it a real classic look.

Bump. Btw this is the same watch Michael Schumacher gave to his mechanics when he won his 2nd championship in 1995, this was the start of his association with Omega.

There was a Schumacher inscribed on the back for sale recently which was about five times the price..

Been asked how long the power reserve is. Not exactly sure, because like a Rolex if worn daily and taken off at night it will run continously. I keep it on a winder but will stop it and see how long but having been serviced recently I'm sure several days is possible.

Not sure my pics do it justice to be honest. I have a Daytona too but for a fraction of the price this is a great watch.

Lovely watch. I’d get it polished if I was trying to sell it.

Thanks mate. It's a bit like vintage cars, personally I'm not a fan of the over restored look, to me the beauty is in the patina. Easy to get polished or even do it yourself with cape cod if a buyer so wishes.

Thank you mate. I've been wearing it for the last few days just to ensure accurate timekeeping (runs spot on) and I'm falling in love with it again myself, but I tend to wear my Rolex more these days. I doubt this will ever lose any value and like some old watches may even go up in value.

Great piece. Just ordered a leather hirsch for my explorer to get rid of my urge to buy another watch. Even so this is very tempting. GLWS

That's a great combo, I bet the explorer looks really retro-cool on that strap. I blame Petrolicious for my liking watches and cars like this these days.

It's incredible to think how much a Daytona of the same age goes for despite them being very similar style and size. The Omega is also automatic and has date whereas a 6265 Daytona is manual wind.
