Well I’m not into traffic light GP’s , but rolling results interesting g82 spinning up the rears in 3rd, image that power being a bale to transfer to forward motion? So AWD?
340 xdrive a quick car for sure, but I have my suspicions the old M4 my have had a tune, but hey who noes

surprised by huge differences in kick down on comfort more compared to new box

The green M4 is definitely not stock if you ask me, there was a huge debate about this on another forums and someone got the VIN and decoded it and it shows up as a base M4 (non competition).
But in the video Mat Watson states it is a competition car without any mods apart from the exhaust burbles

My guess is it is running a Bootmod stage 1, which would explain the aggressive burbles and extra power.

The same car can be seen on the carwow YouTube channel in a different video running a slower 1/4 time at 12.5 seconds (most likely before the tune), whereas in this new video it suddenly does the 1/4 time quicker... a bit suspicious!

    Here is the older video:

1/4 time at 6 mins 40 seconds in

12.5 is slow for a DCT M4 Comp FYI. Pretty sure they can do high 11s when stock.

Agreed, but the car is not comp, it is a base / stock car with black tailpipes and a badge added

Edit: The above is based on what I read on other forums, so take it with a pinch of salt!

    Edit 2:

    I just checked via https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/owners/service-workshop/servicing/service-online-booking.html

    Reg: D3 RAJ
VIN = WBS3R92030K342575 (can run this via a decoder to double check)

It does not show up as 'Competition' where as if you put a M4 Comp reg in, it does show up

    Oh sounds fair enough.

Remember when tuning it doesn't matter whether it's comp/non-comp, the hardware is the same so the final figure is 510hp ish (stage 1)

Yeah my old M4 vert (non comp) was Bootmod 1 and was close to 505 bhp, managed to run a 12 sec 1/4 which is pretty good for the vert (extra weight!).

I would absolutely expect a F80 with stage 1 to keep up if not beat a G80 in a race tbh

Yep. June 2015 first reg'd, so definitely a long time before the Comp was available.

Yes I’m sure someone said the owner of the F80 in the first vids was tagging videos on Instagram saying #500club so I’d say stage 1

That old M4 has a stage one 500BHP tune, I drove the current M4 today and it was well quicker than the old "F" series I had and I had two of them.
No not M5 quick but very fast, I need to drive the M3 as M4 no good for me. I would go Xdrive IF I wanted one and get CCB's.
My spec came too £87+K for the rear wheel version
