Yup, do not forget to use your M3C discount, unless there is already something better going on offer wise on the website.

Cheers,

Guy

Hi Steve,

Do you know if your M2 is fitted with a petrol particulate filter?

Cheers,

Guy

Slight update….

All M2 Competitions in the EU/UK have a OPF/PPF/GPF (depending on what you call it).

Ive now removed that and both cats, had it tuned (560bhp/750nm) and looking for an engine oil for road/occasional track use that’ll be changed after around 3000 miles

Hi Opie Oils,
Would you be kind enough to advise. My daily 2017 335d wagon (Stage 2 with DPF gutted) Im currently using 0w30 oil from main dealer. I'm finding the engine is burning this oil and I need a litre topping up every 2/3k miles. My thoughts are 0w30 oil is very thin for my application. Car is driven well when warmed and is the daily bus for the family. I've read some things about certain oils being DPF friendly etc. I have also read from a reputable diesel tuner that the following oil is best for a tuned 335d without DPF.

Any suggestions ?

Cheers.

Hi,

Topping up every 2-3k with 0w-30 isn't too bad, but yes, a 5w-40 will reduce that and the CFS NT+ is about as good as oil gets. It's not BMW LL04 spec though, so needs to be changed annually or at 10K, whichever comes first.

Cheers

Tim

Hi Opie oils!

My 2012 e92 M3 is coming up for engine oil and filter change.

Im wondering if you would recommend a better oil over the standard Castrol 10-60 super car as it’s quite expensive and if I can improve the oil quality I would like to.

Thanks.
