I don’t think there will be a huge amount of love on here but I’m sure I’ll do a build thread anyway, still got to finish my RS4 one saying that. It’s a Mk5 Astra Vxr Arctic.

The first time I went to look there were a lot of dogs for what I wanted to spend so it’s a bit more than I planned but I think I’ve got a good deal and it put a smile back on my face. I’ll have to resist the urge to buy anything for it when I’m off at Christmas.

Just got back in from a spirited drive this afternoon. Roads are quiet today
Friend of mine has a pub out at scrumpshaw. Could be a good spot to meet? Some ok roads out towards the ferry at Reedham. The roads back in towards Norwich are decent if you don’t take the main A’s

I live in Thorpe, the reedham Road is a good one! Anywhere near Cantley etc. Also between the A47 and Panxworth. I last took the car out on the 27th, it was dead quiet everywhere. Currently in Cardiff for a few days but unfortunately in the 320d, I had to weigh up chasing my mate here in his RS3 or getting 55mpg...... my tight **** nature won on the day

I’ve not found much over Panxworth way. Tends to be to busy when I’ve looked perhaps. North Norfolk coast is good fun. Bit of a trek out there.

Can you recommend someone or specialist to inspect an E46 M3 in Norfolk, please? Particularly looking for someone with knowledge of examine the rear subframe. Thanks in advance, George

I’m sure everyone will come back and say Areeve in Kings Lynn. I’ve tried for two months to get the car in with no response. Doesn’t want my money.
Interested if there’s any others worth a look

I’ve often used Clive Atthowe for performance car servicing but he’s more Audi specialist for repairs.
STR also have a good reputation for knowing performance cars but not specific to BMW.
Herring and Palmer on Hall Road were always a highly regarded BMW Indi but I’m talking back in my e36 days, are they even still in business?

My go to is Car Autohaus up by Asda nr the golf club. Elliot has looked after all my cars in recent years and he’s always an Aston, Porsche or something tasty in. Don’t think he’d take on a floor repair but I could be wrong, he’ll definitely look at it. He’s built plenty of track M3’s so give him a shout
