I can only find old threads on this, can anyone recommend a North London Independent.

I don't really want to go to a main dealer due to bad past experiences.

I have used Technosport, and have been very happy myself for many years, but George is unwell atm, so not much of an option atm.

I am in the same boat…Really sad news about George’s health, he has helped me since 2014 and been amazing.

Yes as above, its the dealership in Enfield. Taken a couple of our cars there in the past for recall and warranty work.

Agree regarding not letting Stephen James Enfield near your car.

I called them to quote on a first service as I wanted to see if they could do it cheaper than another BMW Main Dealer, they said my quote was fake, even after proof via email, with the other quote showing, they said I made it up. 100% DO NOT recommend.

my friend Rob Gallagher started up a garage called perfect touch years ago with his cousin working for him. Sadly he died in a tragic car crash and so I’m wondering if his cousin took over and continued to run it.

Perfect Touch Performance is owned by two brothers, Claudio and Gabs Di Maggio IIRC.

I think he meant died in the car crash, he did say that a few posts above.

I think I have totally misremembered the chain of events. Website says Claudio has been in charge since 2000, I think Rob actually worked for Claudio - that’s how I remember the name.

I remember Rob I think they used to call him tweenie Rob? I was young at the time but one of my mates Jay knew him and perfect touch well. Not sure about ownership etc but it would make sense to me because back in the day they used to be all about Jap car tuning. Maybe they have just expanded their customer base?

Been around for a long time anyway and look like they have a nice set up and a big team
