Hi to all you petrol heads!!
Who will be interested in driving the Norfolk Coastal road?
Meeting point will be Vera's Coffee Shop at Meales Garden Centre, Stalham NR12 9LJ
Arrive 9am to 10am for breakfast.
Head off once fed and watered, following B1159 through Walcott, Mundesley and Cromer.
Then take the A149 through Sheringham, Blakeney, Burnham Market, Hunstanton.
    Finish point Sandringham Estate.
Stop off points along the way for re-forming and comfort / drink / food breaks can be open for suggestions.
Just hope for some good weather. A picnic would be great way to finish.

Just remember to behave at Sandringham! No Donuts on Queenie's Lawn!!

    Regards

    Steve

Hi Steve, hope your good and well!

Thanks for organising this, sounds like it will be a great day out for all attending.

I’m going to struggle alittle bit with this one as it’s the same weekend of my young lads birthday and she (the boss) has arranged for family to come over, however I’ll keep you updated and if I can slip out for a few hours believe me I will.

    All the best

    Lambert

    Hi mate,
Thanks for the message. I haven't had that much interest so far but it will probably build nearer the time. Keep checking the thread.
Lambert is arranging a breakfast meet on 23rd June near Bury St Edmunds, so maybe check that out as well.

    Regards Steve (Autobarn8)

    Hello Steve,

Agreed, it's a little way off as of yet and most don't know what they're doing tomorrow let alone a couple of months.

Sadly I probably can't make the BSE meet as I am out the evening before and there's a fair chance I won't be in any fit state to drive. No change there then...

No worries mate, hangovers need to be slept off in a darkened room!!!
What is AR Performance doing to your M5? I have used them quite a bit and found them very good, especially Perry.

Full engine rebuild. It's been a bit of a headache, for various reasons, but fingers crossed the car will be started next week as the engine's back in the hole.

The Norfolk Coastal Run is not too far away now. There are a few who have shown interest, so its a definite event.

I would like to open it up to other Auto Exotica as well. So dust off your McLaren, Lambo, Aston, Bentley or Ferrari and come along!!!

Meet at Vera's Coffee shop for breakfast between 9am and 10am. I have cleared this with the Restaurant Manager who is happy to feed us all.

Read this post from the start to get address and post code. It is near Stalham on the A149 just before Wayford Bridge.

It will be a great day out, finishing with a picnic at Sandringham.

Get it booked into your Diary ASAP!!!!

    Hi everyone!

The weekend is nearly upon us and its time to polish up those beautiful machines ready for Sundays Coastal Run.
I have been to Vera's for breakfast last weekend and would advise those who are coming to get there around 9:30am ish, as it starts to get busy at 10:00am
The "Fill Your Wellies" full breakfast is a real tasty treat.

Look forward to seeing you all soon!!

    Regards Steve

    Hi guys!
The run did go ahead with a small turnout of only 2 cars!!
Anyone who wanted to come should have just turned up.
Maybe a better response next time. At least I had some company, thanks Brian and Tanya for making the effort.
Maybe a poor choice of date as it clashed with Wimbledon and British GP.

    Hi Steve.

    Hope your well.

Sorry to hear of the small turn out today, I think your right and that the sports on tv had a lot to play with that outcome.

Please join us next week for the Bmw show? Be great to see you there in that fantastic m3.

    All the best
    Lambert

Sorry the turnout was low. I think it's just that time of year where there are multiple car shows and meets happening on the same day so people are spoilt for choice.

For me it was a good 2 hours drive just to get to the breakfast point so would have meant an early start on a Sunday. Even without that though I have building work going on at home so I was working all day on the house, so that's my excuse. Would have preferred a fry up and drive out..
