Does any one have any info on swapping out the Oem xenons for normal e46 non xenons?
Is it a simple plug and play without the xenon ballast, or is it slightly more involved?

    Cheers.

    Simple as that!

You end up with one plug left over and another plug spare if you bin off the level sensors too

I stuck normal Halogen ones into my race car after an intimate meeting with a tyre wall. I also swapped out the control unit / switch assembly for a normal one.
I have had the rear lights showing a fault on the dash display since but it just looks like afterburners and the lights are working so I've just left it.
    Probably need some coding.
