He is going to be looking at nearer to £200k for a late Nismo (MY19/20), and over 200k for an MY21. Three MY21.5's arrived this week but they are all sold.

Wow is that what they have got to now. My first GTR in 2009 was £58k and I grumbled as mates bought the first ones (2009 plates non sat nav) for £53k. Crazy how prices have gone for normal GTR's and the NISMO's.

Makes a Litchfield LM20 seem a relative bargain!

Looks mega. But this is sold right? The idea was to ship one over to Aus where he lives as they're near half a million aus dollars there. Factoring the heavy duty on top of £200k, I dunno what he’d want to do. Would probably just makes sense to source a car from there but I haven’t got a clue what the market is like over there. Really appreciate the advice bud. I’ll just pass it all onto him and he can make an informed decision.

Just got back to me. Duty would be too expensive on a new one so would make more sense to purchase back there, so no point. In terms of a uk car for it to make sense he’s looking for an older car around the £140k mark.

R35 prices in Australia are mental, £300k and up for a T spec. I have seen Nismos advertised for £500k plus so I can see why he is looking to the UK, they are on average less than half the price here.

That is mental. Just goes to show that despite the price hike cars are still a relative bargain here compared to other parts of the world.

He was quite keen on the exclusives car which was at £150k having previously been up for £130k, that was a my17 car I believe. There was also another my17 car with less than a 1000miles which sold for £160k, after having a convo with the dealer just missed out on that one. I think factoring the heavy duty he ideally wants to keep it to around the £140 mark.

I agree it would have been an MY 15 which at that price makes little sense to me. An MY20/21 Track Edition is much better value and has several upgrades no Nismo pre-2020 has, namely CCB, carbon roof, better seats and much nicer 11 spoke lightweight alloys.

It’s the nismo only by the looks of it. Guess he’ll have to re evaluate his budget if he’s dead set on a newer car.
